Holiday Tree Walk 

Friday November 24 - December 25, 2023

This is a free & fun new community event that we think will be a special new addition for our wonderful community to be able to walk around the park and view all the beautifully decorated holiday trees! More Information

Sunol Tree Lighting and Train of Lights 

Friday November 24, 2023  6 PM

The train tickets are no longer available. Come to the tree lighting in Sunol! Each year, one Train of Lights trip is limited to Sunol residents, click for more information (pdf).

Potluck Picnic Party in the Park

Saturday Sept. 30,  2023

Bring a dish and celebrate Sunol at the Annual Potluck Picnic in the Sunol Depot Gardens. We will gather near the wood fired oven. Note that there is additional parking from the back entrance off Bond St.

Niles Canyon Stroll & Roll

Saturday September 23, 2023

Niles Canyon Road (SR 84) will be closed to cars for the day. Come out and enjoy the canyon at a leisurely pace. Click for more information

Sunol CERT

Sunol CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) was started in April 2010 with the purpose of putting together the infrastructure necessary to effectively apply CERT training in the event of a disaster in our own community. Sunol Repertory Theatre

The Sunol Repertory Theatre, an all volunteer group, produces a melodrama play each spring. Click for ticket information and pictures from previous performances.

 Sunol Depot Gardens

 Located at the junction of Main St. and Kilkare, across from the Niles Canyon Railroad Depot, the Sunol Depot Gardens is a favorite meeting spot for Sunolians and visitors alike.

Sunol Glen Unified School

The Sunol Glen Unified School District is a highly regarded and very unique, one-school school district. The school has a grand total of about 275 students (grades pre K-8).

Little Brown Church

Since 1885, the Little Brown Church has been an integral part of the community. In addition to Sunday Service and weddings, the church sponsors a variety of youth and community groups.

 Sunol Wilderness

 The adjoining Sunol and Ohlone Wilderness areas cover over 15,000 acres. There are picnic grounds and easy hiking and mountain biking, as well as miles of difficult back-country trails. Horses welcome. Other local parklands include Pleasanton Ridge Park and Ohlone Wilderness.

Sunol 4-H  

 Every year, the Sunol 4-H Club members bring home numerous awards for their animals from the county fair. They also work on many other projects including computers, drama, leadership and sign language.

 Sunol Business Guild

 The Sunol Business Guild is dedicated to improving and maintaining the Town of Sunol and community.
